Champissage is adapted from “Champi”, the traditional Indian Head Massage. It works by using firm and gentle strokes to ease muscle tensions and encourage relaxation and a sense of well–being. Indian Head Massage is a de–stressing treatment, effective at relieving most common symptoms of stress. The treatment itself lasts about 45 minutes. The shoulders, upper arms, neck, scalp and face are massaged using a variety of selected massaging techniques. The recipient remains fully clothed throughout the treatment. During the massage, time becomes less important and thoughts quieten, allowing you to appreciate complete peace and tranquillity. It helps to promote physical, emotional and psychological well-being. The Indian Head Massage treatments are carried out by Jayne Heaslip who has trained with the South West division of Narendra Metha, London School of Indian Champissage.
