In May 2004 I travelled to Mexico with Bill Harrison (International Healer and Medium) to visit the Earth Dance Ceremony. This is where people gather to dance, fast and pray for four days and nights in order to try and save the earth and initiate new beginnings.

Many people from the local communities come and join together to receive food, and healing. We were asked by Adam Yellowbird the leader of this festival to go to Mexico and help give healing to the community to make a difference to the people. Working in temperatures of 120 degrees, giving healing to hundreds of people each day in the desert was at times quite a challenge. It was soon put into perspective though when the Earth Dancers and children from the local schools entered into a sweat lodge for hours at a time to pray.

We met some wonderful people from the local villages and gave healing to many needy adults and children, some of which appeared to have very little. We came across people with the ends cut out of their shoes so that they could still wear them, long after they had grown out of them. They seemed so happy and grateful for all that was being done to help them.
